Is KPT Capture just for landlords?
No. KPT Capture is a property notebook for homeowners, people with a home and a rental, and small landlords. Personal-use properties can keep rental fields out of the way.
What does the free pilot include?
The invitation-only pilot is free and includes two active owned properties and 100 MB of original-file storage. No card is required and there are no automatic charges. Paid upgrades are not available during the pilot.
What can the scanner read?
Use a clear appliance-label or paint-label photo, or a receipt or invoice photo/PDF. The scanner can suggest details such as model numbers, paint colors, vendors, dates and amounts. Optional AI reading sends your selected file to Google’s Gemini service. Review and adjust suggestions before saving; you can always enter details yourself.
How do home-value and rental-value estimates work?
Request a home-value or monthly market-rent estimate for a supported U.S. residential property. RentCast returns an estimate with a range and matched property information for you to review before saving. Market rent stays separate from the rent you actually collect. Coverage and provider limits can affect availability; estimates are informational and don’t replace an appraisal or guarantee rental income.
Can I download and share my records?
Yes. Download original files, export property records, or grant access to a specific property. For a property transfer, you review the details and files you choose to pass on.
